RESULTS:
FULL TIME! ISRAEL 4-5 ITALY!
There are no words. An outrageous game of football.
Italy came from 1-0 and 2-1 down to lead 4-2, only to then throw it away in the final minutes.
Sandro Tonali's late goal seals a precious, precious win for Gennaro Gattuso, and their World Cup bid stays on track.
What a start for the new Azzurri boss, who has seen two wins and 10 goals in four days.
FULL TIME! BELARUS 0-2 SCOTLAND!
A slightly calmer affair in our other game in Hungary tonight, as Scotland make it four points from two games with a comfortable win.
An excellent start in their bid to qualify for a first World Cup since 1998.
There's still six minutes of added time to be played.
Can we get a 10th goal? Incredible stuff.
GOOOOOOAL! 5-4 TO ITALY!
Simply amazing. What a game.
Sandro Tonali tries his luck with a bending effort from just outside the box that goes past everyone and into the net.
GOOOOAL! ISRAEL MAKE IT 4-4!
The ball goes in, and across the box for Peretz to nod into an open net, and it's 4-4.
Can there be a winner?
Daniel Maldini is on for Italy.
A striker, but he might need to play like his famous father in the final minutes here.
GOAL! BASTONI GIVES ISRAEL HOPE!
Another own goal, and Israel are back in this with minutes to go.
Alessandro Bastoni turns a cross into his own net, and he can't believe it.
Italy have scored nine goals in just two games under Gattuso, with five of them coming from strikers.
An inspired coaching pick?
GOOOAL! ITALY SECURE THE WIN!
Giacomo Raspadori came on for Moise Kean, and he's followed his lead with a brilliant finish.
Davide Frattesi's ball into the striker is exquisite, and the sub sneaks it home to likely seal the victory for Gattuso.
Belarus playing in Hungary behind closed doors has certainly made this an easier game for Scotland, but they have been super-professional out here.
It's been a very solid display, and it's set to end with three points.
ITALY SURVIVE!
Donnarumma is forced into action again, saving and then fumbling the ball.
Peretz thinks he's scored but an Italian defender is there to block the ball going into the net.
SOLOMON GOES CLOSE!
Israel's main man almost makes it 3-3 with a cross-cum-shot that leaves Donnarumma backpedaling.
The new Man City keeper just about gets to it, and Italy breathe a sigh of relief.
15 or so minutes left in both games, and Scotland and Italy are looking likely to come away with wins.
GOOOAL! SCOTLAND MAKE IT 2-0!
Che Adams turns scorer into provider, as he chips a lovely ball over the Belarus defence for Billy Gilmour, whose header across the goal is turned in by the unlucky Zakhar Volkov.
Big goal, and that should be the three points for Steve Clarke's side.
GOOOAL! ITALY GO IN FRONT!
Incredible turnaround.
Retegui is again the provider, flicking the ball off for Matteo Politano to strike expertly into the bottom corner.
Great goal, and Gattuso is loving it.
GOOAL! KEAN EQUALISES AGAIN!
Israel's lead lasted less than a minute, as Kean strikes again to make it 2-2.
It's another fantastic finish from the striker, who's fast becoming his country's go-to man.
GOAL! ISRAEL BACK IN FRONT!
Italy might have thought they'd go onto win this after the equaliser, but Israel are back in front early into the second half.
Dor Peretz fires in a stunning left-footed shot after excellent work from Manor Solomon.
McGinn mistimes his through ball to Andy Robertson on the break.
A second Scotland goal would likely seal the win for them.
MCTOMINAY GOES CLOSE AGAIN!
That's now two chances the now-prolific midfielder has spurned.
He gets up well for a free header, but puts it straight at the Belarus keeper.
Vladislav Kalinin exacts some revenge with a dreadful challenge on Lewis Ferguson.
He's a lucky boy not to have been sent off.
Ben Gannon-Doak goes into the book for a very rash challenge at the start of the second half.
The Scottish youngster is obviously eager to impress, but composure will be needed to hold on here.
BACK UNDER WAY!
What will the next 45 have in store for these four sides?
HALF TIME!
We're at the break in both games.
GOOOAL! ADAMS PUTS SCOTLAND IN FRONT!
Moments after Billy Gilmour hit the post, Scotland take the lead through Che Adams.
John McGinn puts a ball into the box that McTominay heads across the goal and Che Adams is there to finish.
That's Kean's second goal in the space of four days, and his fourth in 2025 for his country.
What a year the Fiorentina striker has had.
GOOOOAL! KEAN LEVELS FOR ITALY!
Big goal for the Azzurri.
Nicolò Barella gets the ball forward to Mateo Retegui, who does very well to set up his strike partner, who finishes in fine style from just outside the box.
Italy are currently six points behind both Israel and group leaders Norway.
A result here is absolutely imperative for Gattuso's side.
SO CLOSE FOR MCTOMINAY!
Scotland really should be ahead.
Max Johnston volleys in a cross, and Scott McTominay tries to poke it towards the bottom corner, but it goes just wide.
You'd have backed him to score.
Italy have responded in decent fashion to that shock opener, but haven't really had a true chance yet.
They need to get Moise Kean involved.
GOAL! ISRAEL TAKE THE LEAD!
Donnarumma's own goal was disallowed, but Manuel Locatelli's is not, as he makes a mess of a clearance from a cross and slides the ball into his own net.
Not the start Gennaro Gattuso would have envisioned.
Scotland have an early claim for a penalty waved away as they look to find the breakthrough at an empty ZTE-Aréna stadium.
GOAL DISALLOWED FOR ISRAEL!
Gianluigi Donnarumma makes a mess of a punch at a corner, putting it into his own net with the aid of a header from Federico Dimarco.
However, there was an apparent infringement that the referee and the VAR agreed, and we stay at 0-0.
KICK OFF!
And we're under way in our two games.
