Italy coach Silvio Baldini has called up another new face for the senior side, as Juve Stabia’s Alessio Cacciamani has joined the team, after Marco Palestra and Luigi Cherubini pulled out.
The Azzurri beat Luxembourg 1-0 in Wednesday evening’s friendly match and will face Greece away from home on Sunday night.
Baldini is the interim coach following Gennaro Gattuso’s resignation, promoted temporarily from the Under-21 squad, and gave 15 players their senior debuts.

He is expected to launch yet more careers in Greece, but Atalanta full-back Palestra and Roma-owned Cherubini withdrew from the camp due to injuries.
Today the call came for Cacciamani, who is set to turn 19 later this month.
The left-sided winger is owned by Torino, but spent this season on loan in Serie B with Juve Stabia, where he scored two goals in 33 games.
