Italy star Federico Chiesa is likely to return to action for Liverpool on Tuesday in a Champions League game against Girona.
The former Juventus and Fiorentina winger has been struggling with injuries this season, but according to Liverpool Echo, he could return to action in a Champions League match against Girona tomorrow.
Chiesa has only played 77 minutes of football since joining the Reds on a permanent transfer from Juventus in August and recently scored a goal in a Liverpool U21 game against Nordsjælland.

Liverpool coach Arne Slot said last week that Chiesa’s return would allow Mohamed Salah to rest, and according to the Echo, tomorrow’s ‘visit to Girona might be an important one for the former Juve forward.’
Chiesa is unlikely to start in Spain, but the upcoming fixtures will offer him a chance to get playing time under his belt and prove his worth for the Reds.
Chiesa has provided one assist in three Liverpool appearances this season.
Liverpool coach Slot will give the latest team news during a press conference on Monday afternoon. The Reds will train today at 12:00 GMT.
