Inter Milan’s dramatic 6-2 comeback win over Pisa sent the Nerazzurri further clear at the top of the table, and Francesco Pio Esposito once again played a decisive role.
The young striker scored the goal that completed the turnaround at San Siro, confirming his growing influence in Cristian Chivu’s side.
Speaking to DAZN after the final whistle, the Italy youth international admitted he felt every moment of the support.
“I heard the chants and I feel honoured,” he said, with quotes via FCInterNews.
“It was very emotional, and I’m happy to have shown it again in front of them.”

The atmosphere inside San Siro reflected Inter’s surge in confidence as they overturned Pisa with authority.
Esposito’s goal proved to be the key moment, swinging momentum firmly in the Nerazzurri’s favour before the floodgates opened.
Asked about the comparisons drawn between himself and Christian Vieri, Esposito responded with humility.
The Curva Nord had used the same chant once reserved for the former Inter icon, but the striker remained cautious.
“It’s too early to mention people like Bobo, and I don’t like these comparisons,” he explained. “But I feel honoured by it.”
