Former Premier League boss Tony Pulis hopes Liam Rosenior gets the time and backing Mikel Arteta has received at Arsenal.
Rosenior replaced Enzo Maresca at the start of the year, and signed a six and a half year contract at Stamford Bridge.
The 41-year-old has made a good start to life in west London, and has won six of his opening eight games, with his only defeats coming against Arsenal in the semi final of the Carabao Cup.
Rosenior has won all three of his Premier league games, and the Blues currently sit fifth in the league, one point behind fourth placed Manchester United.
That form has seen Rosenior nominated for the Manager of the Month award for January in just his first month in the job.

Obviously the defeats to Arsenal have been a disappointment, and former Stoke boss Pulis hopes Rosenior gets time and backing.
“His only defeats have come in both legs of their Carabao Cup semi-final against Arsenal,” he told BBC Sport.
“Yes, that exit was a blow but let’s remember Gunners boss Mikel Arteta has been in the job for more than six years and has produced, with some enormous financial backing.
“Let’s hope he gets the time and backing Arteta has received at Arsenal, because I believe it’s vital to our national game that young British managers are given a chance by Premier League clubs, and if he succeeds then others can follow.”
Rosenior hasn’t been at Chelsea long, but he seems to be making an impact on the players, with Enzo Fernandez impressed by the 41-year-old.
