Iván Jaime joins Las Palmas on loan from Porto with option to buy | OneFootball

UD Las Palmas have confirmed the signing of Iván Jaime on loan from Porto for this season, with an option to buy at the end of the deal.

The attacker arrives to bolster an attack the club viewed as needing more unpredictability and alternatives. According to Superdeporte, his profile matches the brief set by the sporting department.

Jaime joined Valencia in January 2025, when the side were struggling near the foot of LaLiga and needed points to pull clear of the relegation places.

Injuries during his spell at Mestalla limited his continuity and prevented him from showing his full potential.

He made 10 competitive appearances for Valencia in 2024-25, nine in LaLiga and one in the Copa del Rey.

Now with Las Palmas, he has a fresh opportunity to regain prominence and reproduce the form that took him to prominence in Portuguese football and to Spain Under-19 honours.

A Málaga academy product, he offers pace, one-on-one threat and versatility, able to play on either wing or as an attacking midfielder. He will aim to find the consistency in Gran Canaria that he lacked in Valencia.
