Souleymane Fofana rescued ASEC Mimosas from suffering a second defeat on Sunday against Sol FC of Abobo. With his two goals, the 20-year-old midfielder was the hero of the 3-2 victory.These two strikes brought his tally to 11 goals for the Mimosas academy graduate.

Capable of playing as a winger, Souleymane Fofana has also provided 5 assists this season, making him the top scorer in the Ivorian Ligue 1 after 20 rounds.
