Jack Grealish returns from suspension to face his former side Aston Villa at Villa Park on Sunday.
The Manchester loanee served a one-game suspension after picking up two consecutive yellows for dissent late in the 1-1 draw with Wolves. He missed the third-round FA Cup knockout game against Sunderland at home which the Blues went on to lose in the penalty shootout.
Michael Keane, however, remains sidelined for this clash and will serve the second of his three-game ban after seeing a straight red card for “violent conduct” in the game against Wolves at home.
Jarrad Branthwaite and Seamus Coleman have returned to “light” training with clips of them returning to the grass shared by the club on social media. However, they are still some time away from securing medical clearance and making it to the squad.
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Charly Alcaraz and Tim Iroegbunam are also in the treatment room, the latter two with undisclosed injuries.
Asked if any of the injured players are fit to return for the weekend clash against Unai Emery’s side in the press conference, David Moyes said, "Probably, no. One to two are back on the grass but I don't think they're available for the weekend.
"Both Jarrad and Seamus have been back on the grass. They've been back in training. They're back in amongst it."
On Dewsbury-Hall, Alcaraz and Iroegbunam, Moyes added: "They're getting closer but they're not training yet."
Meanwhile, Iliman Ndiaye and Idrissa Gana Gueye also remain unavailable after Senegal beat Egypt to qualify for the AFCON final where they will take on hosts Morocco on Sunday.
