The Toffees will have the support of the home crowd behind them to deliver an upset. This game will also be important for them considering the fact that they lock horns with Manchester City in an away fixture after this Sunday’s game.

Defence

Jordan Pickford had a good game last week and he will be instrumental once again when he takes onto the field for Everton against Chelsea. Right-back Ashley Young continues to provide his vast experience and qualities to the side.

Though there were concerns over the full fitness of Jarrad Branthwaite, he is likely to chip in. He will be pairing up with James Tarkowski at the heart of the defence. Vitaliy Mykolenko’s place as the left full-back is also certain the most.

Midfield

Idrissa Gueye and Orel Mangala should once again form the midfield duo and try to control the tempo of the game or disrupt the opponent’s flow. While Iliman Ndiaye continues on the left wing, Jack Harrison’s position has come under the radar after he failed to make any positive impact.

Jesper Lindstrom will be the one challenging him for the right flank role.

Attack

Abdoulaye Doucoure is again deployed as the bridge between the attacking line and the midfield. He will have the services of Dominic Calvert-Lewin in front of him.

Manager Sean Dyche is without the likes of Dwight McNeil, Armando Broja, James Garner and Tim Iroegbunam. However, Youssef Chermiti could be marking his comeback after participating in a practice game behind the doors.
