Jack Wilshere named Norwich interim boss after Hoff Thorup sacking

Norwich have named Jack Wilshere as the club's interim head coach until the end of the season.

The Canaries sacked Danish boss Johannes Hoff Thorup after less than a year in charge on Tuesday following their defeat to Millwall.

That loss leaves the East Anglia club sitting in 14th place and the Carrow Road side have opted to pull the trigger this afternoon.

In the Dane's place comes Wilshere who will be in the dugout for their two remaining Championship games this term.

Norwich travel to Middlesbrough on Saturday before hosting Aaron Ramsey's Cardiff on the final day.
