Jagoba Arrasate has left his role as Mallorca head coach. The Balearic club said in a statement on Monday night that he had departed.
Mallorca sit 18th in La Liga, one point behind Elche, the first team outside the relegation places.
They have lost six of their last eight league matches, winning two.
Despite the slide, Vedat Muriqi has scored 16 league goals, the fifth highest total in Europe.
A successor has not yet been named. Names being mentioned in Spain include Luis García Plaza, Toni Amor, Pep Lluís Martí, Quique Sánchez Flores, Francisco García Pimienta and Imanol Alguacil.
