Jambos will never have a better chance to end their the rangers hoodoo. Do they have the stomach to beat their Glasgow cousins?

After going 16 points clear against Dundee United we can now afford to put our feet up and see if theRangers fold and push our inevitable title win a game closer.

They face a tricky away fixture at a hostile ground against a team in form, but the only saving grace for the Ibrox side is that it’s against Hearts, who as we know, like to fold when facing their big Glasgow cousins.

That isn’t the words of a man wearing green tinted specs, that’s a proven fact and the stats fully back that statement well and truly up.

It’s been almost five years since the Jambos tasted victory over the Ibrox club. Five years and 17 games is a stat that should be a sense of shame to the Gorgie faithful.

They will never have a better chance to put that right than this afternoon. Philippe Clement’s side has been poor away from home this season, and are in something of disarray especially with a humiliating home defeat by Queen’s Parklast week still fresh in the mind.

The knives are well and truly out for Clement and his players. The Jambos must surely fancy their chances tomorrow, even if it means upsetting their Glasgow cousins. The big question though is, do they have the stomach?

As a Celtic supporter enjoying such a superior lead at the top, I ain’t bothered either way it goes. It will be an interesting watch right enough…
