According to Molineux.news, Wolves have significant work to do now the January window is open, and Jamie Carragher believes Jorgen Strand Larsen could depart very quickly.
He said on Sky Sports, "The fact that Larsen is on the bench, he was on the bench at Anfield a few days ago, on the bench now. That’s how I see it, and then maybe they use the funds to go buy three or four players."
Head coach Rob Edwards has already held a positive transfer meeting with Fosun, though supporters remain wary after previous late deals and missed targets.
Fer Lopez has been linked with a January exit, with Celta Vigo said to be in advanced talks over an 18-month loan.
Crystal Palace and West Ham want Strand Larsen this month, but a £40 million valuation has put them off for now.
Sam Surridge has already been mentioned ahead of the window, ending 2025 with 32 goals, 25 in league play and six in the US Open Cup. By contrast, Strand Larsen has struggled for consistent output in the first half of the 2025/26 Premier League season.
