Pundit Jamie Redknapp was on duty for Sky Sports covering the Chelsea win over Liverpool yesterday, and he was confident that Chelsea will be getting stronger and stronger in his post-match analysis last night.

As cited on X, Redknapp said:

“Winning the Club World Cup was huge for this team, but it’s come at a cost. Look at PSG, they’re decimated by injuries.

“So I think Chelsea will be a slow burner as well, and we’ll get better as the season goes on. And we’re so quick to judge teams right now, but it doesn’t matter after seven, eight games. It matters at the end of the season, and I think Chelsea are going to get stronger and stronger.”
