Jan 8 Charlotte FC Transfer Finland International Leftback Jere Uronen To AIK

Charlotte FC have transferred Finnish international left-back Jere Uronen to Swedish club AIK Fotboll. The 30 year old fullback joined Charlotte in 2023 and in his short stint with the club, he played roughly 2,900 minutes. In his 38 games for Charlotte FC, Uronen recorded 5 assists.

With the rise of Andrew Privett at centerback and the signing of Tim Ream last summer, it made Uronen a surplus on that roster. Tim Ream slotted into the leftback role under Dean Smith all while Privett was a top centerback pairing with Adilson Malanda.
