Göztepe beat Gaziantep 1-0 at Gaziantep Stadyumu on Sunday to remain fourth, with Janderson's winner coming after the hosts missed a penalty.
In the 38th minute, a Janderson finish was ruled out by VAR for handball, keeping the game goalless.
Drissa Camara then drew a penalty (63.). Mohamed Bayo missed from the spot (65.).
Janderson finally made it count, glancing in from close range from an Amin Cherni cross after a corner (69.).
Mateusz Lis preserved the lead with a sharp save from Christopher Lungoyi's header (90.).
Gaziantep saw more of the ball at 57.6% and registered 19 attempts, but only three were on target. Göztepe produced five shots on target from 15 attempts and defended their box stoutly.
Next, Gaziantep visit Caykur Rizespor in the Türkiye Kupasi. Göztepe host Samsunspor next in the Süper Lig.
