Jardim names Flamengo line-up for Corinthians at Neo Química Arena | OneFootball

Flamengo travel to Neo Química Arena in São Paulo on Sunday for the eighth round of the Brasileirão, eyeing a win to move into the top four. Head coach Leonardo Jardim has selected his strongest available side for the meeting with Corinthians.

According to Coluna Do Fla, the starting line-up is Rossi, Varela, Danilo, Vitão, Alex Sandro, Evertton Araújo, Jorginho, Arrascaeta, Paquetá, Samuel Lino and Pedro.

Flamengo have four absentees. Saúl Ñíguez is recovering from surgery on his left heel and Bruno Henrique is receiving treatment for pubalgia. Léo Pereira and Erick Pulgar are suspended for this round.

Gonzalo Plata has not been included despite no injury, with his training performances not satisfying Jardim.

The Rio club sit fifth on 13 points after six matches, with four wins, one draw and one defeat. Corinthians are ninth on nine points.
