Jarred Gillett will referee Tottenham Hotspur vs Leeds United on Monday, with the Whites still seeking their first win in a game he has overseen this season.

According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, Gillett will be assisted by Neil Davies and Steve Meredith, Tom Kirk is fourth official and Craig Pawson is on VAR, and in its player ratings for last month’s FA Cup semi-final defeat to Chelsea he was given 4/10 and described as infuriatingly inconsistent.

Daniel Farke’s side travel after Friday’s 3-1 win at Burnley, when Anton Stach, Noah Okafor and Dominic Calvert-Lewin scored to move them to 43 points. They will be mathematically safe if West Ham lose to Arsenal on Sunday.

Tottenham, despite back-to-back wins, remain in the relegation fight. A 2-1 victory at Aston Villa lifted them out of the bottom three, but they sit one point above West Ham in 18th, with Leeds set to visit both at their home grounds.

Gillett has officiated 20 Premier League matches this season, averaging 19.85 fouls and 3.55 yellow cards per game, which places him among the more lenient referees. Leeds will hope Monday brings a first win under him.

Their four league games with Gillett this season brought defeats to Arsenal and Nottingham Forest, followed by Elland Road draws with Manchester United and Brentford. Farke later argued a free-kick against Anton Stach at Forest was wrongly awarded and that the hosts’ second goal followed soon after, while stressing his side were also self critical.
