Jean Mattéo Bahoya set to join Leeds United from Eintracht Frankfurt | OneFootball

Jean Mattéo Bahoya (21) is set to join Leeds United on loan from Eintracht Frankfurt before the summer transfer window closes today, according to Fabrizio Romano. The 21-year-old is set to join the Whites on loan, with the agreement including a mandatory purchase clause that could see the overall package reach €30m.

Authorisation has also been granted for Bahoya to undergo his medical, with the player having given the green light to the move. The deal is therefore now close to completion on transfer deadline day. The Frenchman joined Frankfurt from Angers in January 2024 and has made 76 appearances for the Bundesliga side, scoring seven goals across all competitions.

Leeds United beat Everton and Hull to Bahoya’s signature

The France Under-21 international primarily operates on the left wing but can also play in attacking midfield. He has previously attracted interest from several Premier League clubs, with Everton and Hull City among those linked with a move.
