Andrée Jeglertz says Rebecca Knaak and Sam Coffey won't be available for City's WSL finale at West Ham United.
The duo missed out on the Blues’ extra time FA Cup semi-final win over Chelsea on Sunday, which booked City a date with Brighton at Wembley.
Jeglertz’s side were also without Vivianne Miedema at Stamford Bridge, with the Dutch international missing due to personal reasons since scoring a double at Old Trafford in late March.
However, our number ten has now returned to training ahead of our trip to the Hammers, and our Head Coach said she’d be monitored in the coming days.
Jeglertz said: “She’s been away for a while, let’s see how she reacts to these days to see when she can be back.
“I’m really happy she’s back and part of the group.
“They [Sam Coffey and Rebecca Knaak] are still not able to participate this week.”
City wrapped the Barclays Women’s Super League title up with a game to spare last Wednesday, but could equal our best-ever points tally with a win on Saturday.
Jeglertz is confident his players are motivated to end the season on a high, and also boost preparations for the FA Cup final with a positive performance.
“Of course, all games we play is always going to be important and we want to win those games,” he added.
“Also coming up to the FA Cup final in a couple of weeks, we need to use this game as preparation at the same time to make sure we finish off on a high.
“There’s no doubt we want to win the last game.”
