Jens Stage nearing Hoffenheim move | OneFootball

Hoffenheim are expected to confirm the signing of Werder Bremen’s Jens Stage (29) by the end of this month, according to Bild.

The Danish midfielder, who played a key role in securing Bremen’s Bundesliga spot, is close to reaching an agreement with Hoffenheim, who secured European football having finished the 2025/26 season in fifth place.

Bild further add that Stage is close to reaching an agreement with Hoffenheim, although no discussions between the two clubs has taken place. That’s expected to happen this week, with TSG expected to approach Bremen.

However, the Green-Whites will be reluctant to let their star player leave, but they would be willing to negotiate should they receive an interesting offer, given that they have to create transfer revenue as soon as possible.

Stage scored ten goals and provided two assists in 29 Bundesliga appearances this season for Bremen who finished the season 15th, three points above Wolfsburg in the promotion/relegation play-off.
