According to Kicker, VfB Stuttgart forward Jeremy Arévalo is close to a season-long loan to Estrela Amadora. The 21-year-old Ecuador international has struggled for minutes under Sebastian Hoeneß since joining from Racing Santander in January.
Estrela Amadora were bought at the end of August by an investor group involving Thomas Müller, Mats Hummels, Yann Sommer and Lucas Hernández.
Stuttgart paid about €7m for Arévalo in January 2026 and gave him a deal to 2031. Signed as a long-term project, his first eight months have not opened a clear route into the first team.
He has seven Bundesliga outings and played in the 3. Liga, scoring five in four for Stuttgart II.
Deniz Undav is first choice, Ermedin Demirović offers experience and €25m recruit Dzenan Pejcinovic pushed him further back.
If the Estrela move goes through, he would be the second to leave after the German window shut. Badredine Bouanani joined Rangers on Thursday on a season-long loan for about €500,000, with an option near €19m, close to the €20m Stuttgart paid OGC Nice last year.
Chema Andrés went to Brighton for €20m-plus, Mirza Catović extended to 2029 then was loaned to Barcelona, and Lazar Jovanović departed in an €8m package with Udinese.
Josha Vagnoman stayed despite Premier League interest, Bilal El Khannouss after a reported €40m Al-Ittihad offer, and Jamie Leweling also remained.
