Abdelhamid Aït Boudlal was the first to go off, replaced by Alidu Seidu on 29 minutes at Bollaert.

Jacquet followed in the 70th minute, giving way to Mahamadou Nagida.

Rennes coach Habib Beye said Jacquet’s issue was the shoulder and Aït Boudlal’s was muscular. He added there will be time to assess, but both problems are fairly serious.

Jacquet agreed a move to Liverpool this winter and will join the club in the summer.
