According to Le Progres, the LFP has appointed Jérôme Brisard to referee the Olympico between Marseille and Lyon on Sunday at 20:45, closing the 24th round of Ligue 1. The 39-year-old also took charge of last season's meeting at the Vélodrome.

Brisard has refereed Lyon 23 times since December 2017. This season he oversaw their 3-2 defeat at Nice on 18 October 2025, then their 3-1 win at Monaco on 3 January.

He has handled Marseille twice this season, bringing one win against PSG and one defeat away to Lille.

Brisard was also on VAR duty for the recent Lyon v PSG game that ended 2-3, where Paris’s second goal, scored by Kvaratskhelia, should have been disallowed after an initial foul by Vitinha on Tessmann.

On Sunday he will be assisted by Alexis Auger and Erwann Finjean, with Bastien Dechepy and Yohann Rouinsard assigned to VAR.
