Mexican midfielder Jesús Angulo has pledged his long-term future to Chivas insisting he wants to become a legend with the Rojiblancos.
Angulo had been linked with a move to the MLS but, speaking on his YouTube channel the 24-year-old denied the rumours.
“I am not going to leave Chivas,” he said.
“I want to win silverware. I am focused on making a career and a name for myself with this club. I want to become a part of the history of Chivas and to give them back a little of that joy they give me.
“I want to take Chivas to where it deserves to be, it is the biggest team in Mexico and I want to help them so that they are where they deserve to be.”
Angulo, who joined Las Chivas in 2019, had recently tested positive for COVID-19 and he confirmed he will continue to train alone this weekend.
Chivas return to action on Saturday in Liga MX as they travel to FC Juárez.
