Jhon Duran joins Zenit Saint Petersburg on loan

Jhon Duran has left Fenerbahçe to join Zenit Saint Petersburg on loan until the end of the season. The Colombian forward has been under contract with Al-Nassr since last year.

L'Équipe reports that the 22-year-old departs after a mixed half-season in Türkiye. Zenit are second in the Russian Premier League.

Having made his name at Aston Villa in England, Duran then made the surprising decision to sign for Al-Nassr to complete the 2024-2025 campaign in Saudi Arabia.

He was loaned to Fenerbahçe last summer and is now heading to Zenit on the same basis.

At 22, this will be the sixth club of his career.
