According to Fabrizio Romano, Jhon Durán is set to join Benfica from Al Nassr on loan with a non-obligatory option to buy. The 22-year-old would arrive in Lisbon.

He would follow Gabriel Índio, Clément Lenglet and Jakub Kamisnki. The report says Benfica beat competition from two Champions League clubs and that Marco Silva’s plans were decisive.

Durán has agreed to reduce part of his salary to make the move happen. Previous loans at Fenerbahçe and Zenit saw those clubs cover his full wages, which Benfica could not match.

In 2025/26, across Fenerbahçe and Zenit, he featured in 27 matches and played 1,257 minutes, scoring six goals and supplying two assists.

He is valued at 15 million euros.
