Jimmy Butler visited Santos at CT Rei Pelé on Monday, with Neymar guiding his friend around the training complex. The NBA star plays for the Golden State Warriors.

The club said in a post that the Golden State Warriors player had been keen to visit for some time.

Butler received signed shirts from Neymar and Gabigol and toured the facilities. He was also pictured kissing the Santos badge.

Santos face Atlético-MG in Belo Horizonte on Wednesday in the second leg of the Copa Sudamericana quarter-finals.

They won the first leg 2-0, so a draw, or even a one-goal defeat, would still send them into the semi-finals.

Neymar remains sidelined as he recovers from a right thigh injury.
