Joao Felix has set his sights on supplying the pass for Cristiano Ronaldo’s 1,000th career goal, as the Al-Nassr forward excels alongside his Portugal captain.

"I want to offer an assist to Cristiano for his 1,000th goal." Felix told AS.

At 41, Ronaldo has already passed 900 career goals and now stands on 979, leaving him 21 short of the 1,000 landmark. The five-time Ballon d’Or winner shows no sign of slowing.

This season he has seven Al-Nassr appearances across all competitions and three goals. He will look to add to his tally when he features for Portugal against Norway in the Nations League today.

Felix is in strong form, having been named best player in Al-Nassr’s recent league title win after arriving in summer 2025. He has 30 goals and 22 assists in 55 club appearances across all competitions.

"As a player, I feel better. I understand the game better, the different phases of a match. It is not the same to be 26 as it is to be 20 or 21." He recently scored against Wales.
