João Pedro has been named the Premier League Player of the Month for August after making a flying start to the 2026/27 season.
The Chelsea striker scored twice and provided two assists in the club’s opening two league matches, helping the Blues secure victories over Fulham and Brighton.

Joao Pedro opened the scoring after just 33 seconds against Fulham before setting up Cole Palmer for the winner in a 3-2 victory.
He then scored again against former club Brighton, before assisting Palmer once more as Chelsea claimed a thrilling 4-3 win.
The 24-year-old beat Chelsea team-mate Palmer and six other nominees to claim his first Player of the Month award.
He also becomes the first Chelsea player to win the prize since Palmer in September 2024, while becoming the seventh Brazilian to receive the award.
