As reported by Florian Plettenberg, Jobe Bellingham is traveling to Germany to visit and hold talks with Eintracht Frankfurt.

The Sunderland midfielder celebrated promotion to the Premier League last weekend, but is already looking at options for next season.

The talks with Frankfurt have nothing to do with contracts or medicals. The visit is purely to get a sense of the club and if it would be an option should he decide to leave Sunderland this summer.

Bundesliga Interest

The younger brother of Jude Bellingham is attracting a lot of attention from several clubs in the Bundesliga.

One in particular is his brother’s former employee, Borussia Dortmund. The family already know the club well and its surroundings. BVB achieving Champions League football on the final day of the season will also bolster their chances of signing the 19-year-old Englishman.

However, Frankfurt also have Champions League football to offer and had a much more stable season than BVB, comfortably finishing 3rd in the end.

Jobe has mentioned in the past that he wishes not to be consistently compared to his older brother. With this in mind, a move to BVB could be seen as counterintuitive from Jobe’s point of view.

Elsewhere, RB Leipzig remain interested but do not have European football to offer having finished 7th.

However, everything remains an open race for the England youth international’s signature.
