The January transfer window has only been open for a couple of days and already speculation around multiple deals is rife.

Crystal Palace have confirmed the signing of forward Brennan Johnson from Tottenham. Johnson scored 18 goals including the winner in the Europa League final last season for Spurs.

He adds some much-needed firepower to Oliver Glasner’s side who have only scored 22 goals in 19 league games.

West Ham announced the signing of Gil Vicente striker Pablo Felipe, and are closing in on a deal for Valentin Castellanos.

Castellanos is also a striker and plays for Lazio. The Guardian report he is nearing completion on a move to the London club.

Charlotte FC are thought to be interested in signing Harvey Elliott on a loan deal, according to the Daily Mail. Dean Smith, the former Aston Villa manager, is currently managing the MLS side.

AC Milan have announced the signing of West Ham striker Niclas Fullkrug on loan until the end of the season, with an option to make the deal permanent.

Pascal Gross has rejoined his former club Brighton from Borussia Dortmund on a permanent deal until June 2027.

Gross spent seven years at Brighton, and manager Fabian Hurzeler said on his return: “We are really pleased to have Pascal back with us.

“Brighton fans know his attributes, but he brings great leadership qualities to the group. Those qualities, along with his experience and ability, will be a huge asset in the second half of the season.”
