Liverpool will entertain Tottenham Hotspur at Anfield this Sunday as they look to secure a good result at home in the Premier League. The Reds suffered a narrow 1-0 away at Galatasaray recently, so they would be keen on bouncing back by securing a win this weekend.
Arne Slot will once again set his men up in a 4-2-3-1 formation and is expected to make some changes to his first team for this game. Curtis Jones, Cody Gakpo and Allison Becker could all play from the start of this game.
Alisson Becker will get the nod to feature in goal for Liverpool if he can pass a late fitness test. Ibrahima Konate will operate alongside Virgil Van Dijk at the centre of Slot’s defence as they look to keep a good shape when defending inside their half.
Dominik Szoboszlai could once again fill in as a makeshift right-back, while Milos Kerkez hopes to prove his worth on the other flank as the left-back. Both of them will have to pick and choose their moments to join in on the attack.
Joe Gomez and Andy Robertson will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Ryan Gravenberch and Curtis Jones will anchor the midfield for the Merseyside giants as they focus on winning the 50-50 battles at the centre of the park.
The gifted trio of Cody Gakpo, Florian Wirtz and Mohamed Salah will play just ahead of them as part of the Liverpool attack. All three of them need to be at their best if the Reds are to secure a victory at Anfield this Sunday.
Alexis Mac Allister, Rio Ngumoha and Trey Nyoni will have to settle for a place on the bench as they wait for their chance to impress in the second 45 minutes if required.
Hugo Ekitike will spearhead Liverpool’s attack up top. He has to find a way to be a constant menace in the final third after putting in a toothless display versus Galatasaray earlier this week.
Federico Chiesa will make up the numbers on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the latter stages if needed.
