Jorge Jesus marked Portugal’s Presidential election by urging people to vote and revealing he had cast his ballot.

The Al Nassr coach and former Benfica manager said in a post that he travelled with his family to Diriyah after a Saudi league win. After a big lunch he went to fulfil his duty, noting it was Presidential election day in Portugal.

His Instagram post showed him placing his ballot paper in the box.

The first round took place on 18 January, with António José Seguro the standout winner. He will now face André Ventura in the race for Belém.

Jesus began the season strongly with Al Nassr, though there have been recent setbacks, with criticism of refereeing along the way.
