Jorge Jesus, the former Benfica head coach, was spotted with Frederico Varandas at the renowned Solar dos Presuntos, a meeting that drew attention among Benfica supporters.

According to Glorioso 1904, Vítor Araújo also attended, and the restaurant shared the get-together on social media, noting a relaxed, convivial mood and describing it as a special pre-match meet-up.

Jesus is already into the international break, a spell during which he said Cristiano Ronaldo would not return before then, speaking after Al Nassr’s 5-0 win over Al Khaleej on Saturday 14 March.

The 71-year-old coach had two spells at Benfica, 2009/2010 to 2014/2015 and 2020/2021 to 2021/2022, winning three league titles, one Taça de Portugal, five Taças da Liga and one Supertaça Cândido de Oliveira.
