Jorge Jesus has skipped media duties for the second time in three days, cancelling Al Nassr’s mandatory pre-match press conference before Al Ittihad.

According to Glorioso 1904, the former Benfica coach chose not to appear for Friday’s preview. He also missed the post-match press conference after the 1-0 win over Al Riyadh on Monday, the 20th round. Cristiano Ronaldo also chose to boycott.

League rules require managers to attend such briefings before home matches and after all league games. Al Nassr, who usually announce them on X, made no post this time, confirming the Portuguese coach’s absence.

Under Saudi Pro League communication regulations, a first offence brings a suspended fine of about €12,300. A second offence is roughly €24,600, and triggers payment of the initial fine. Further breaches can rise to €56,000 and €112,000.

Al Nassr host Al Ittihad, managed by Sérgio Conceição and sitting sixth, on Friday, 6 February at 17:30, in the 21st round.
