According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Jorge Mendes will meet Chelsea directors today, pushing for Joao Felix’s move to Milan on the deadline day.
The versatile Portuguese striker could become Milan’s third January signing, so his agent, Jorge Mendes, is trying to convince the Blues to send him to San Siro for a low transfer fee.
According to Gazzetta, Milan are unwilling to pay Joao Felix’s entire salary until the end of the season and a fee for a six-month loan deal.

Chelsea, on the other hand, don’t want to release Joao Felix for free so Mendes is trying to find a compromise that would satisfy both clubs.
Aston Villa were among the clubs interested in Felix, but Marcus Rashford’s move to Villa Park means Unai Emery’s side are no longer in the race for the ex-Atletico Madrid star.
Chelsea are working to bring attacking reinforcement on the deadline day with Eli Junior Kroupi, Alejandro Garnacho and Mathys Tel on their radars. If one of them moves to Stamford Bridge today, Joao Felix could be allowed to join Milan.
At the same time, the Rossoneri are planning to make room for the Portuguese by selling Noah Okafor, who is not part of Sergio Conceiçao’s plans.
The January transfer window in Italy ends today at midnight local time (23:00 GMT).
