A former employee at a metallurgy company in Rosario, he left his job temporarily with the agreement of his wife Celia.

He travelled to Catalonia to find a club, Barcelona, that would take Leo in and help fund his costly hormone treatment.

“My father would get up at four am and come home at nine pm for dinner, almost every day. We saw little of each other, but when we did he enjoyed my company, he never told me off,” he said in an interview with LuzuTV in February.
