Chivas have been boosted by the news that José Juan Macías will be available for Saturday’s crucial Clausura clash at Toluca.
According to a report from TUDN, the striker has resumed full training since overcoming a knee injury that threatened his involvement at the Nemesio Díez.
The 22-year-old underwent tests on Wednesday that came back all clear and allowed him to rejoin Marcelo Michel Leaño’s squad.
Macías has made six appearances for the Flock since having his loan spell at Getafe in Spain cut short.
However, five of those came as a sub as the former prodigy struggles to readjust to life with Los Rojiblancos.
He did score the winner against Santos Laguna in week seven, and will hope to have a similarly positive impact at Toluca as Chivas seek to push into the top 12 play-off positions.
