"I think Sa is guaranteed to go," said Liam Keen.
"I think there'll be a clean break with goalkeepers. Bring a new number one in," he added, speaking on the Express & Star podcast.
Sa began the campaign as number one, then lost his place to Sam Johnstone for 11 straight Premier League matches from late September to December. In 2026 Sa has been preferred by Rob Edwards and has recently worn the captain’s armband.
With Wolves all but set for the Championship next season, departures are expected. Keen said: "Johnstone obviously has experience there, he can play in the Championship, of course he can. I feel like maybe he'll want a fresh start to go elsewhere."
He continued: "It also depends on the summer in general. Is the goalkeeper going to be your number one priority? It probably isn't, especially if Johnstone is willing to stay."
Sa was outstanding in his first year at Molineux, winning Wolves’ Player of the Season, but consistency has since wavered. He has mixed standout displays with costly errors, and earlier this season fronted up to fans after a 3-2 defeat to Burnley despite not playing.
