Josh McDonald signs contract extension

Leeds United are pleased to announce that Academy forward Josh McDonald has renewed his contract with the club.

The 18-year-old has committed his future at Elland Road until 2028, after penning a new three-year deal.

A versatile attacker equally adept on either flank, McDonald put in a number of standout performances last term against experienced opposition as the Whites lifted the National League Cup, as well as featuring 14 times in the Premier League 2 under boss Scott Gardner.

The winger has also received international recognition, making four appearances for Scotland’s Under-17s side.
