Norwich City striker Josh Sargent is set to join Toronto FC following a heated meeting with Ben Knapper and Philippe Clement.
Norwich City have decided where striker Josh Sargent's future lies as the Canaries continue their battle to stave off relegation from the Championship.
The Norfolk club have heavily bolstered their survival credentials with back-to-back wins in the second tier, including a 5-0 triumph over West Brom on Tuesday.
Philippe Clement's men will have to be at their best once again this Monday to get anything out of their home clash against Championship leaders Coventry City.
Meanwhile, amid the speculation surrounding Sargent's future, fellow Norwich striker Jovon Makama has hit a rich vein of form, with four goals in his last three games across all competitions.

Sargent has not featured for the Canaries since their 2-0 defeat to Stoke City in the Championship on 4 January, as his future remained undecided amid transfer interest.
Meanwhile, taking to X on Thursday, The Athletic's MLS Insider, Tom Bogert, posted: "After a heated meeting with Norwich City sporting director Ben Knapper and head coach Philippe Clement, it appears that Josh Sargent has played his last game for the club.
"Sargent was seen visibly upset. One source says there was a comment made regarding Sargent's family, which was the last straw. He continues to train with second team as he pushes for transfer to Toronto FC.
"TFC & Norwich continue negotiations."
The 25-year-old has notched seven goals and three assists in 23 Championship appearances this season, with his most recent strike arriving in a 2-1 win over Queens Park Rangers on New Year's Day.
Sargent also proved his class by scoring 15 goals and producing five assists for the Canaries in the second tier last term, albeit injury struggles have plagued his Carrow Road career.

Sargent has been a key player for Norwich in the Championship ever since the Norfolk club were relegated from the Premier League in 2022.
His return of 16 goals and two assists in 28 league appearances in the 2023/24 season fired the Canaries to the play-offs, where they were ultimately thrashed by Daniel Farke's Leeds United.
Sargent has shown his attacking credentials in the Championship once again this campaign, but fellow striker Makama has stolen the limelight at Carrow Road.
The former Lincoln City man, who scored seven goals in League One last season, has adjusted to the second tier admirably well with 10 goals in 25 appearances.
Makama also showed his class with a hat-trick in Norwich's emphatic 5-1 victory over League Two outfit Walsall in the FA Cup third round.
The 21-year-old has proven that he has what it takes to score the goals that should keep Norwich in the Championship, while Sargent's increasingly imminent exit will pave the way for the ex-Lincoln star to enjoy more game time.
He will hope to have a positive impact for the Canaries in their back-to-back league clashes with automatic promotion chasers Coventry and Middlesbrough, as well as their upcoming encounter with fellow relegation battlers Blackburn Rovers.
