Joshua Zirkzee’s future continues to be the subject of transfer rumors, but so far no concrete developments are on the horizon.
The former Bologna Dutch striker missed Manchester United’s last match, the 2-0 derby victory against Guardiola’s City, due to a physical problem.
Zirkzee himself shed light on his health, captured in a video posted by a fan.
In response to a question about his condition, the player stated that he will be available again within about two weeks, reassuring supporters of his recovery.
On the transfer front, however, the situation remains largely unchanged.
According to Matteo Moretto, despite continued interest from several clubs, United have not yet authorized any negotiations for his departure in this January transfer window.
Meanwhile, Juventus appears to have shifted their attention to Jean-Philippe Mateta, putting the Red Devils’ number 14 on the back burner. Juventus’ interest in Zirkzee, at least for now, remains low-key, pending any developments or openness from the English club.
