According to Jacobs, Liverpool’s interest has not developed into formal negotiations, with Arsenal currently more advanced in their planning. “Liverpool, intriguingly, discussed Rodrygo back in May,” Jacobs posted on social media platform X, hinting at an early-stage awareness rather than an outright bid.

From a fan’s perspective, if either Diaz or Gakpo were to leave, Rodrygo would represent a stylish, versatile option with genuine Champions League nous. But with Salah entering the final year of his contract and still producing elite numbers, there’s no rush to replace him either.
