JS Kabylie let two precious points slip away in Béchar. Despite leading 2-0 against JS Saoura, Josef Zinnbauer's men ultimately had to settle for a draw (2-2), much to their coach's dismay. The German tactician did not hide his disappointment:

"We were up 2-0, we were in full control. Mistakes like these just can't happen at this level."

"Missing six players, but proud of my men"

For Zinnbauer, fatigue and numerous absences weighed heavily on the result.

"I'm not looking for excuses, but we were missing six key players. Of course that takes a toll, physically and mentally," he admitted.

Despite his frustration, the coach made a point of praising his squad's commitment:

"I want to congratulate my players for their performance, especially in the second half. They showed real character and determination."

JSK, who thought they'd done the hard part thanks to goals from Mahious and Riyane Akacem (own goal), were betrayed by a mistake from goalkeeper Hadid before conceding a costly penalty.

"I don't know what was going through his mind, but at this level you simply can't gift goals like that," Zinnbauer lamented again.

This draw, which felt like a defeat, is a stark reminder of how every detail matters in the race for the podium.

"We have to learn from this kind of scenario," concluded the clear-eyed but determined Kabyle coach, eager to bounce back in the next matchday.
