Juan Cuadrado seals Millonarios move on Colombia return | OneFootball

Juan Cuadrado, 38, has completed an emotional return to Colombia by joining Millonarios on a free transfer on Thursday after 17 seasons in Europe.

The Bogotá club did not disclose financial terms. According to Transfermarkt, his contract runs until June 2027.

The former Juventus and Chelsea winger left for Udinese in 2009, winning the Premier League at Stamford Bridge and five Serie A titles across seven years in Turin.

He also had spells with Lecce, Fiorentina, Inter Milan, Atalanta and Pisa, having started his professional career at Independiente Medellin. Millonarios are Colombia's second-most successful club.

A mainstay for the national team, he has 116 caps and 11 goals, and featured at two World Cups and five Copa Americas.

He will aim to sharpen quickly for Categoria Primera A as Millonarios push for domestic honours. His forthcoming debut in blue promises to be a headline attraction.
