A whole host of Real Madrid stars have taken to social media on Tuesday, to unveil messages of support to young teammate Joan Martínez.

This comes after the 17-year-old underwent a successful surgical procedure.

Defender Joan, for his part, was of course dealt a hammer blow on the injury front last month.

This came after a training ground incident left the Spaniard – widely considered to be a future first-team star in the making at Real Madrid – with a torn ACL.

The medical staff at Valdebebas, in turn, had since been waiting for the right moment to sanction an operation for Joan.

And, as revealed by the player himself on Tuesday afternoon, this morning, he underwent precisely as much:

As proved the case upon his injury originally being confirmed, meanwhile, Real Madrid’s stars have since been quick to show their support for their up-and-coming teammate, amid what is no doubt a difficult moment in his fledgling career.
