Jürgen Klinsmann has hailed Harry Kane as the ideal ambassador for the Bundesliga, praising the England captain's impact at Bayern Munich.
According to BuLi News, the former Bayern player and coach, now 61, told a virtual roundtable on Wednesday that Kane's influence since arriving in Germany has been incredible on and off the pitch. He featured in the FC Bayern Legends Cup in January.
Kane has 130 goals in 133 games in all competitions for Bayern after joining from Tottenham in summer 2023 for a reported €95 million. The 32-year-old has made a rapid mark in Bavaria.
Klinsmann said Kane is admired across Germany, not only by Bayern supporters, and he highlighted the forward's qualities beyond goals and assists. Asked for a World Cup goalscorer pick, he immediately named Kane.
With 30 goals in 24 Bundesliga matches this season, Kane is chasing Robert Lewandowski's single-season record of 41. Klinsmann expressed confidence in his chances of surpassing the mark.
It was confirmed on Thursday morning that he will miss Friday's clash with Borussia Mönchengladbach because of a calf injury, leaving him with one fewer opportunity to add to his tally.
