Jules Koundé felt a muscle problem against Northern Ireland and was withdrawn, but there was no alarm six days before France’s World Cup opener.
France won 3-1 in Lille on Monday. According to L'Équipe, the right-back asked to come off at the interval because of discomfort.
Malo Gusto came on for the second half, a change not driven by tactics.
The 27-year-old, capped 48 times, caused no concern 48 hours after the game.
His involvement at Thursday's first training session in the United States, at Bentley University in Boston, will be monitored.
