Julian Álvarez, Atlético Madrid’s forward, is in high demand on the transfer market. To prevent his departure, the Madrid club is offering him a very lucrative new contract.

The player, under contract until 2030, has attracted interest from FC Barcelona and several English clubs such as Chelsea FC. Atlético is therefore trying to secure their striker by significantly increasing his salary.

Despite this offer, the final decision remains in Álvarez’s hands. In 2024, the club invested €75 million to sign him, and any potential transfer this summer could cost twice as much. However, president Enrique Cerezo has made it clear that the club has no intention of letting their star leave.
